Mufasa ‘X’
‘X’ is a 2007 registered Shire stallion [23183-S]. Beautifully proportioned, he possesses a quiet temperament, outstanding hair and feather, and a delightfully expressive face.
‘X’ was sired by the magnificent Laurel’s Powerful Paul out of Wandamere Suki. . Graceful and athletic at liberty, he is eye-catching in the show ring as well.
With wins at USDF, GCDHA, and other events, this stallion is quickly becoming a seasoned show-ring contender. Ever mindful of our long-term goals, X has been handled daily since weaning and displays a willing attitude and a gentleman’s manner home and away from the farm. He was backed in December 2009 and will continue his initial under saddle training in the spring of 2010.

SNF Fjelde
In November 2010, it was our great pleasure to acquire the fabulous SNF Fjelde (Fee-YELL-dee) from Sorum Fjords.
This exceptionally talented brown dun gelding was bred by Sorum Fjord Farm out of Rams Lindemann. The handsome Fjelde is both a competitive Dressage horse and an excellent driving horse. He has many wins to date, and was Reserve Grand Champion at the 2005 USDF Regionals. During his 2010 season, he was shown at Third Level by Sorum trainer, Shannon Sullivan. He is the epitome of an all around sporthorse, with a fantastic work ethic and ‘do anything’ attitude. We quickly fell in love with this outstanding horse, and are looking forward to the 2011 season.
SNF Thorleif – “Thor”
Thor is a registered 2004 Norwegian Fjord Gelding by Rams Lindermann. SNF Thorleif stands 14’2 hands on a relatively narrow frame. He displays the large eyes, small ears and sturdy build characteristic of the Fjord breed. His adorable looks combine with an exceptionally willing and steady attitude that attracts attention wherever he goes.
SNF Thorleif was bred by Sorum Fjord Farm of Lebanon, Ohio and acquired by Silver Drache Farm in 2006. He was backed under saddle in the fall of 2007, and began his dressage training in the spring of 2008.
He made his show debut in late 2008, performed well at Intro level in 2009, and has continued his training in preparation for the 2010 season. Thor is expected to develop into a respectable lower-level performer in the Dressage ring, and is great fun as a trail mount, as he is game for any adventure.
SNF Ragin
SNF Ragin is a 2007 Norwegian Fjord Mare (NFHR 07-5696-M). Ragin was acquired by Silver Drache Farm in late 2010 from Sorum Fjord Farm of Lebanon, Ohio.
This brown dun mare is a sibling to her older brothers, Fjelde and Thor by the stallion Rams Lindemann. Ragin is exceptionally calm and extroverted, and with her adorable looks and compact build will become an excellent broodmare. She is currently continuing her beginning Dressage training, and will be bred for a 2012 foal to Sorum’s PCF Vidar.
Bellisima – “Silver Bella”
Bella is a 1990 Belgian Draft mare, bred in Virginia, and acquired by Silver Drache Farm in 2005. She stands 17h, and is the traditional dappled chocolate with blond mane and tail.
Bella is now retired from her long-standing fox hunting career, and spends her days leisurely grazing the pasture, giving the occasional pony ride, and keeping a watchful eye on comings and goings around the farm.
